Local Information and attractions We offer a range of activities both on the property and within a short distance. The following may give you a flavour of what's available in the surrounding area of this beautiful part of France.
Nearby Meounes Les Montrieux is an historic Mediterranean village in an area that boasts many fine restaurants.
Horse riding and trekking is also close by with golf at Chateauneuf and tennis at Brignoles.
The lovely resort of Bandol, with its sandy coves, elegant palm-lined promenade, casino, smart restaurants and a harbour filled with sumptuous leisure yachts is about half an hours drive, as is Hyeres where you can take a boat trip to the beautiful butterfly island of Porquerolles.
Porquerolles is the largest, most westerly of the three islands in the Îles d'Hyères . It is 7 km long by 3 km wide, with 5 small ranges of hills, cliffs on the south coast, and on the north coast its port and the beaches of Notre Dame, La Courtade, and Plage d'Argent.
Tropezien beaches are located along the coast in the Baie de Pampelonne also know by the residents as Grania (pronounced granny-ay), which lies south of Saint-Tropez and east of Ramatuelle . Pampelonne offers a collection of beaches along its five kilometre shore. Each beach is around thirty metres wide with its own beach hut and private or public tanning area. Many of the beaches offer windsurfing, sailing and canoeing equipment for rent, while others offer motorized water sports, such as power boats, jet bikes and water skiing.
